There is no manual cash-out or instant payout. Every vendor’s wallet balance is paid out automatically every night — see Automated Payouts. There is no “Cash Out” or “Instant Payout” button anywhere, in the app or on the web. This page describes what the Wallet page actually shows, and why the buttons in the mobile app just open it in a browser.

Where to find it

  • Web dashboard: Settings → Payments → Wallet.
  • Mobile app (Local Pass Business): Payments → Access Wallet or Cash Out. Both buttons open the same web Wallet page in your device’s browser — the mobile app has no payments screen of its own; it hands off to the web dashboard for everything past the Stripe connection banner.

Signing in to the Wallet page

Because it shows real balance and payout history, the Wallet page asks you to re-confirm your identity before it loads, even if you’re already signed in to the dashboard:
  • If your account has a password, you’re asked to re-enter it.
  • Otherwise (or if you choose “Use SMS verification instead”), a 6-digit code is texted to the phone number on your account and auto-submits once you type it in.
This confirmation happens once per visit to the Wallet page, not on every dashboard page.

What the Wallet page shows

Balance card

The top card shows net earnings + taxes and the platform fee, updated live as orders complete. A panel explains the nightly schedule and shows a live countdown to the next payout (e.g. “tomorrow at 3:00 AM PST, in about 7 hours”). Two warnings can appear here:
  • If your balance is below the $5.00 CAD minimum, a note explains it will roll over into the next payout that clears it.
  • If your Stripe account isn’t verified yet, a warning explains payouts are on hold, with a link back to finish verification.

A line-item view of the current balance:

Payout balance

A separate card shows the balance sitting at Stripe itself — Available (ready to reach your bank) and Pending (still settling) — with a refresh button. This is money already released from your Local Pass wallet; it’s on its way to your bank account on Stripe’s own schedule.

Transfers, Payouts, Summary, and Statements

Four tabs below the balance:
  • Transfers — money moved from your Local Pass wallet to your Stripe account (the nightly runs).
  • Payouts — money moved from Stripe to your bank, with a status badge (Paid, Pending, In transit, Canceled, Failed) and an “Instant” tag if Stripe itself expedited that particular bank deposit.
  • Summary — Received / Paid out / Retained totals over the last 7 days, this month, or this year.
  • Statements — downloadable statements, described on their own page.
An Export CSV button on the Transfers/Payouts/Summary tabs downloads the full transfer and payout history at once.

Help

The Help button in the top right shows the current payout policy text (kept up to date centrally, not hardcoded into the app).

Failure modes

If a nightly transfer or a subsequent Stripe payout to the bank fails, nothing is lost — the balance simply isn’t cleared and is retried on the next scheduled run. There’s no vendor action to take beyond making sure Stripe verification stays complete. If a balance seems stuck for more than a couple of days, contact support at vendors@imlocal.ca.
