The box widget puts a card for one of your boxes on your own website. Visitors see the box there and join on Local Pass.

Add it

Two ways to get the code:
  • Open the box and press Add to my website at the top. This button shows while the box is live.
  • Or go to Grow → Website widgets and choose the CSA box type, then pick the box. It’s offered once your store has a box.
Choose how it looks: the colour, the button shape, the font and the button wording. The preview shows the card as it will look. Press Copy code, then paste the code into your website where you want the card.

What visitors see

A card with the box’s photo, kind of share, name, price a box, how often it comes, the next box or the season, and spots left. The button reads Join by default, or Join the waitlist when the box is full. The button opens the box’s signup page on localpass.ca in a new tab. Signing up needs an account and a card, so it never happens inside your site. When someone joins this way, your box’s Updates tab says they joined from your website.
While your store or the box isn’t live, your website shows only a link to the box. Publish the box in Box settings to show the full card.
The other website widgets (your store, products and buttons) never show boxes, because a box isn’t sold one at a time.
