When your stock is coming, give each pickup location and delivery zone its date. Then pack from the **Pack list** tab. ## Set the dates Open the pre-order's **Delivery** tab. Orders are grouped by place: each pickup location and each delivery zone. A banner says how many orders need a date. * Press **Set date** on a place to date every order there, or tick some orders and press **Set date for selected**. * Choose the date and press **Save and email them**. It must be today or later, and within a year. * **Change date** works the same way. The date also becomes the date on your pre-order page for anyone who orders from then on. **What the customer gets:** an email, "Pickup date for your pre-order" or "Delivery date for your pre-order", with the date and times (and, for pickup, your **How to find it** notes), and a text with the date and times. If the order isn't paid yet, the email asks them to pay. If they paid a deposit, they also get the bill for the rest. You can also give a place its date ahead of time in the pre-order's **Settings** (**On a date**), or choose **Set it later**. ### Deliveries and routes A dated delivery order goes onto your [Delivery routes](https://localtechnologiesinc.mintlify.site/merchants/delivery-routes.md) for that day by itself. Press **Delivery routes** on a dated zone to open them. In the app, this opens the business portal. The Delivery tab shows each order's customer, address (with a map link), items, payment and how much is packed. Filter by place, date or payment, or search. ## Pack list The **Pack list** tab adds up what to pack, place by place. It fills in as orders come in. Cancelled and released orders are left out. * Pick a date: **All dates**, one date, or **No date**. * Search by customer, order number or item, and pick a place. * **Paid only** is on at first. Unpaid orders are listed apart, at the bottom, and left out of the totals. Turn it off to pack them too. * Show orders **To pack**, **Packed** or **All**. ### Pick list Each place's items, added up. Tick an item to mark it packed on every order at that place. A line shows **Done**, how many are packed and left, or **none packed**. ### By order One card per order, with the customer, pickup or delivery, the order number and its payment. Tick lines as you pack. **Mark all packed** ticks every order the filters show at that place. You can untick any afterwards. In the app, switch between **By item** and **By order**. ### Where your ticks are kept * **Portal:** on this device only. Ticks in one browser don't show on another. * **App:** shared with every device you pack on in the app, as you go. The two don't share ticks with each other. Pick one place to pack from. ### Print Press **Print pick list and slips** (app: **Print** or **Share as PDF**). You get the pick list, then one packing slip per order. A slip for an unpaid order says "Not paid yet: check before it goes." Delivery slips have lines for who received it and when. ## Packing mode (app) In the app, open the pre-order's **⋯** menu and choose **Packing mode**, or press **Start packing** on the Pack list tab. It's a full-screen way to collect everything, pack order by order and check the amounts. See [Packing mode](https://localtechnologiesinc.mintlify.site/merchants/packing-mode.md). Packing mode packs paid orders only while **Paid only** is on. Weights for items sold by weight are still entered in the order's **Final weights**, because they set the customer's bill.
