# Appearance

**Where to find it:** Settings → Appearance

Your logo and cover photo are the first things customers see when they visit your store. A clean, professional image builds trust and makes your store stand out in search results.

## Uploading a Logo

Your logo appears as a circular badge overlaid on your cover photo — visible on both mobile and desktop layouts.

1. Tap **Upload logo**
2. Choose a photo from your device library
3. A preview will appear instantly in the layout panels on screen
4. Tap **Save & Upload** to confirm and publish the image

  Use a square image with a clear background for the best result. Your logo is displayed in a circle, so avoid putting important content in the corners.

## Uploading a Cover Photo

Your cover photo is the large banner image at the top of your store page.

1. Tap **Upload cover photo**
2. Choose a photo from your device library
3. Preview it in both layout panels on screen
4. Tap **Save & Upload** to confirm

<Tip>
  High-quality photos of your products, farm, kitchen, or storefront work great as cover photos. Aim for a wide, landscape-oriented image.

## Live Preview Panels

The appearance page shows you two real-time previews side by side:

| Panel            | Description                                                        |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Desktop view** | Wider layout with a larger logo and cover banner                   |
| **Mobile view**  | Compact layout showing how customers on phones will see your store |

Check both views before saving to make sure your images look good at every screen size.

## Resetting a staged upload

Made a mistake or uploaded the wrong image? Tap **Reset** to clear the pending upload and start over.

<Note>
  Resetting only removes the image you are about to upload — it does not delete your current live logo or cover photo. Your existing images stay in place until you successfully save a new one.

## Image quality tips

* **Logos:** PNG format with a transparent background works best
* **Cover photos:** Use well-lit, high-resolution images (at least 1200px wide)
* Both images are compressed to 60% quality on upload to keep load times fast for customers
